The LC radio module is a low cost, but high quality sub-assembly designed for use by OEM companies in the manufacture of licence-exempt radio telemetry and wireless data products.

The LC is available as a transmitter module, a receiver module or a full transceiver module.

The transmitters have a power output adjustable from 5mW to 750mW and can therefore be set to the 500mW limit which applies to licence exempt industrial use in a number of countries. The product has been designed to meet the requirements of ETSI EN-300-220 (Class 1) and UK MPT1329 specifications at data rates up to 9600bps. Where higher transmit power or compliance with the stricter EN-300-113 specification is required, our higher performance LRT radio module range may be more appropriate.

The LC range of RF modules are designed to mount directly onto a printed circuit board. The LC radio module incorporates a synthesizer chip which must be serially loaded with frequency information from an external PIC or microprocessor. PICs preloaded with 150-2400bps FFSK Softmodem code and synthesizer loading code are available for use with the LC if required. For high volume requirements, other preprogrammed devices and configurations may be available. Please enquire.
